Assuming a visionary role in the preparation and execution of this social media campaign, Quack facilitated the client’s goal of influencing policymakers by targeting messaging about the illegal wildlife trade (IWT) to friends and relatives in their wider network.
In addition to providing oversight and ensuring strategic alignment, responsibilities included the management of partnerships, conducting planning workshops with stakeholders, designing the campaign’s artistic style, creating a new Facebook page and website, and producing over 30 behavior change materials regarding IWT demand reduction, as well as interactive activities for an in-person launch event.
Quack also facilitated media coverage, engaged with CSOs and youth towards a broader movement against IWT, and conducted comprehensive monitoring and evaluation.
